
RMBL offers courses and independent research opportunities for undergraduate students, in part through funding from the National Science Foundation. RMBL also provides support for researchers from universities and colleges. Approximately 160 people are in residence during the summer field season. Over 1200 scientific publications have been based on work from the Laboratory. RMBL is a member of the Organization of Biological Field Stations.
